Immaculate Conception School is located in Pen Argyl, Northampton County, Pennsylvania, at Babbitt and Heller Avenues. Our School provides education for Kindergarten through Grade Six. The three-floor physical facility consists of administrative offices, seven classrooms, a gymnasium/cafeteria, which accommodates our Hot Lunch Program, a modern library, and a state-of-the-art computer laboratory. We are blessed to have the dedication of the Pastors of our three sponsoring parishes: Saint Elizabeth (Pen Argyl), Saint Roch (West Bangor), and Saint Rocco's (Martins Creek).
The Administration, Faculty, and Staff of Immaculate Conception School, in partnership with our families, place primary importance on the proclamation of the Good News of Jesus Christ. We strive for academic excellence in a Catholic, Christ-centered environment through a well-balanced academic curriculum, particularly on the mastery of fundamental life skills and the development of patriotism toward the United States of America. Our aim is to prepare our students for life here and hereafter, by the harmonious development of
all the powers of the human being: spiritual, moral, intellectual, social, emotional, and physical, according to their essential hierarchy with our Creator.
Immaculate Conception School is open to children of all faiths, ethnic backgrounds, and culture. Registration requires a student’s Birth Certificate, Baptismal Certificate, Immunization Records, and a Parish Membership Letter.
The spiritual, academic, social, and physical growth of our students is strengthened through the dedicated Pastors, parents, and teachers.
Frequent communication between school and home, through a monthly calendar and weekly bulletin, are a consistent way in which parents are made aware of School functions.
Students entering Kindergarten must reach five years of age on or before October 15th of the academic year in which they begin classes.
