THANK YOU to all our volunteers for your dedication and support!
Diocesan policy and State/Federal laws require all volunteers who are in contact with children to have clearances on file. Clearances are at no cost to volunteers. All required clearances must be submitted to the office prior to volunteering.
DIOCESAN REQUIREMENTS (one time only)
- Attend a Protecting God's Children Workshop; submit certificate.
- Review the Code of Conduct Policy; complete Acknowledgement Form.
- Review the Sexual Abuse Policy; complete Acknowledgement Form.
- Review the Child Protective Services Law; complete Acknowledgement Form.
- Review the Social Media and Electronic Communications Policy; complete Acknowledgement Form.
- Complete the Background Check Authorization Form and return to the Office.
STATE/FEDERAL CLEARANCES (required every 5 years)
- PA State Police Criminal History Record Check, submit results to Office.
- Mandated Reporter Training; Submit certificate.
Answer NO to the "seeking credit" question to be able to complete the course in smaller segments. - PA Child Abuse History Clearance - Click for Instructions.
- FBI Fingerprint Check - Click for Instructions.
- Complete the National Sex Offender Registry Verification Form- Check "volunteer" box, complete bottom section and return to the School Office (The Office will scan and submit.)
You will receive a letter from Dept. of Human Services by mail in approximately 2 weeks; return this letter to the office.
